Karla Miller, 48, of Algona, died on Friday December 25, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Karla May Kueck, the daughter of Lynn and Sherry (McNeill) Kueck, was born on May 1, 1967 in Britt, Iowa.
She graduated from Algona High School in 1985 and then attended the University of Iowa. Karla worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Denver, Colorado when she met Eric Miller. They were united in marriage on September 27, 1995 in Golden, Colorado.
Karla was a member of Grace Church and helped with the nursery at the church. She enjoyed watching the 49ers, Duke Basketball and gardening. Karla loved being a stay at home Mom and taking care of her children. Left to cherish Karla’s memory is her husband of 20 years, Eric; children, Matthew Miller, a student at UNI, and Faith Miller, a student at Algona High School; father, Lynn Kueck of Algona; grandmother, Irene McNeill of Spirit Lake; and mother and father-in-law, Pat and Lynn Miller of Erie, CO. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Joy Kristina Miller; mother, Sherry Kueck; and a sister, Kristine Kueck.
