Karl P. Cordova of Santa Fe passed away from sudden cardiac arrest on October 18, 2022. He was 52 years old. Karl is survived by his wife of 26 years, Shannon Cordova; sons Benjamin (20) and Ryan (18); his mother Eva Cordova, his sister Patsy (Dale) Cresswell, Mother and Father-in-law Michael and Carol Linder; and brother-in-law Sean (Maria) Linder; nephews Ty (Steph) Cresswell, Dylan Cresswell; niece Brittany (Matt) Cordova; great niece Ava, great nephew William and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Karl is preceded in death by this father Bill Cordova and his brother Billy Cordova.
Karl was born on April 13, 1970, in Pueblo, CO to Bill and Eva Cordova. Karl graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1988 and received a BS and MS in Recreation Resources Management from Colorado State University in 1993 and 2000, respectively.
Karl loved outdoor activities like hiking, camping, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking and frisbee golf. Karl loved people and was known for his bright smile, laughter, and sparkling eyes.
