Karl J. Mersinger, Jr., “John” of Burlington passed away at his home on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the age of 58. Karl was pre-deceased by his father Karl J. Mersinger, Sr., his mother Gladys (Nee: Crowley), and his sister Darah Mersinger. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carmela (Nee: Angelatos), his three children: Joseph, Rochelle and Philip (Danica), nephews Frank Mersinger and Nick Sullivan; four grandchildren: Evangeline, Jonathan, Lily and Parker; his sisters in law: Christina Cipriano (Matt) and Athena Sokolowski (Jerry) and his mother in law Rita Angelatos. Karl was a Senior Master Technician for Ford for many years and took great pride in his work.

He loved rocking out to music, all animals (especially dogs), airplanes, horse racing, Eagles football and Phillies baseball, and spending time with his family. He had many friends who had various nicknames for him, all of which suited his colorful and jovial personality. Aside from family and friends, his greatest personal achievement was winning the Florence Township Little League Championship as the Head Coach of the Burmeister Orioles.
