Karl J. Wertz age 44 of Salem passed away 11:00 AM Saturday Dec. 8th, 2012 at his home. Karl was a loving husband to Suzanne for over 20 years and a caring father to his sons, Karl Jr. and Michael both at home. Karl worked at CMC in Struthers the past 5 years. He previously worked for Schaefer Equipment in Howland for 6 years, Quaker city castings in Salem for 5 years, and Electric Furnace. He attended Columbiana elementary, Canfield High School, and M.C.J.V. Served in the U.S. Navy. Graduated with a degree in Electrical Technology from New Castle School of technology. Survivors include his wife Suzanne Wertz, whom he married May 23, 1992. Two sons, Karl J. Wertz and Michael J. Wertz at home. Mother Eileen Wertz and sister Michele Wertz of Columbiana, Oh and a sister Lucinda Kramer of N.J.
