Kari Michelle Nordmarken “Annie”, 43, of Minneapolis, Minnesota journeyed home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 4, 2013. She was born on April 21, 1970 in South Minneapolis, Minnesota to Charles and Hazel (Reese) Nordmarken.
Kari liked her music and dancing. She had a very big heart for her friends and family. Throughout her life she touched a lot of peoples hearts. Kari always had a smile on her face and would help everyone if she could. She was a very genuine person and was not shy to tell you like it was, she either liked you or she didn’t and you always knew where you stood. Kari was a happy-go-lucky kind of person, loving daughter, sister and “Annie” to many nieces and nephews that she loved so much. She had many friends and relatives that she cared for deeply and we will miss her dearly.
Those who passed on before her were her father; Chuck Nordmarken, a brother; Chuck Nordmarken, Jr., an uncle; Sam Reese, her cousin Georgia Reese and her best friend Cheryl Thompson.
She leaves behind her mother; Hazel Nordmarken of Onigum, her sisters; Krisi Nordmarken and Kim Brown both of South Minneapolis, brothers; Jay Nordmarken and Walter Brown both of South Minneapolis and Bobby Brown of Cass Lake, significant other, Darrin Olson of Fond-Du-Lac, many nieces and nephew and a lot of cousins and friends.
