Karen W. Bammert, 58, passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2012 at William Childs Hospice House.
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had lived in Satellite Beach for the last 18 years.
Karen worked at Space Coast Credit Union for 15 years where she won numerous awards for being a top producer. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was the past president of the Cocoa Beach Elkettes. Karen was a caring and loving person who loved helping people and making them laugh with her zany antics and quick wit.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Nick; daughters, Greta and Hannah; step-son, Nicholas; sister, Christine Brown; brothers, Stephen, Keith and Paul Weber; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Sandy Vincur, who was a blessing to our family in our time of need. We also want to thank Hospice of Health First for their outstanding care they provide for her.
