Karen Sue Mudd, 75 of Fort White, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.  She was born in Evansville, Indiana, the oldest of 3 children to the late William E. Woodruff and Wilma Jean Roberts Woodruff.  Mrs. Mudd was raised in Chrisney and Evansville, Indiana.  She had made her home in Wimauma, Florida for many years before relocating to Fort White 14 years ago.  Mrs. Mudd worked in the Title Industry for 42 years including many years with WCI Communities in Sun City Center, Florida.  She was always organized, strong willed and full of spunk and energy.  Mrs. Mudd enjoyed drag racing in her younger years with her late husband of 52 years, Gordon Ray “Buddy” Mudd.  She loved collecting dolls, sewing and watching the wildlife in her yard.  Mrs.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Christi Dube (Reginald, Jr.), Fort White; her three grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Reginald “Joey” Dube, III, (Heather) and their children, Michael, Kera, Jacob, Ritamarie and Christian, Robert Dube (Amber) and their children, Teagan, Austin, Killian, Channing, Chloe and Dakoda, Dylan Mudd (Tiffany) and their children, Blaize, Jacob and Kinsley all of Lake City; nephews and nieces, Jimmy Clark, Jr., Kimberly Bunce, Michael Clark, David Clark, Pamela Way, Billy Clark, Jeffrey Woodruff and their spouses.
