Karen Sue(McCourt) Knight, 62 of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at United Hospital Center with her family by her side. She was born July 5, 1954, daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Betty June Heavner McCourt. Karen is survived by her husband Cecil Ray Knight, Jr. Grafton: they were united in marriage December 16, 1987.
She worked at Grafton City Hospital, Dairy Marts, she enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing with her grandkids whom she thought the world of. Graduated from Grafton High School.
In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by three children, Jason McDaniel and wife Natasha, Flemington, Kyla Palmer and Husband Shawn , Casey Knight and companion Breanna Williams, Morgantown, four grandchildren; Brooklyn Palmer, Brayden Palmer, both of Grafton, Damian McDaniel, Flemington, Landon Knight, Morgantown, one sister, Constance Riley and husband Beryl, Grafton, one brother Ricky McCourt, Grafton, Mother-In-Law Edith Kenny, Brother-In-Law Pressley Knight and wife Glenda, Grafton and several nieces and nephews, aunts and Uncles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her; Father-In-Laws; Cecil Ray Knight, Sr. and Scott Kenny, Sister-In-Law. Tamara Moats.
