Karen Sue Coleman, age 81, of Vandalia, died Sunday, March 21, 2021 in her home. Her life began October 18, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, the fifth of six children born to Glenn and Charlotte Allison.

Most of all, Karen loved the Lord and was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ.
Karen will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by one brother, Earl Allison of Vandalia; three daughters, Sherry Hyatte and Wendy (Steve) Grace, both of Vandalia, Kathy (Lisa) Coleman of Marcellus; seven grandchildren, Courtney Hyatte of Columbia, Maryland, Erin (Gabe) D’Vincent of Austin, Texas, Ryan Grace of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Nathaniel Coleman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Anthony (Aubri) Coleman of Mesa, Arizona, Karleena Byram of LaPorte, Indiana, Michael Stanton of Decatur, Indiana; four great grandchildren; Parker and Alexis D’Vincent, Haylie and Ashton Coleman; former husband, Marvin (Pam) Coleman of San Tan Valley, Arizona; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
