Karen Murray (60) passed away on Saturday November 21, 2015. She was born in Erie, PA on December 31, 1954 to Thomas and Barbara Murray.Karen grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, went to high school in Switzerland, and attended Chamberlain College in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a bookkeeper/accountant working in Boston and Main. For many years she managed a popular hotel on the beach in Old Orchard Beach, Main. Growing tired of the long cold snowy winters, Karen moved to Boerne Texas to live closer to her daughter and granddaughter. Karen lived a colorful, full life. She loved walking on the tide line of the ocean and the Texas weather. Most of all, Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren. Karen was well loved for her giving heart and compassion for those who have less. She had a great earthy sense of humor. Karen you are missed. We love you. Karen is survived by; Her Mother, Barbara Murray of Sarasota Florida, her brothers Bill and Peter, her sisters Debbie and Susie, her daughter Jennifer Chavis husband Ben, two granddaughters and two grandsons.
