She was predeceased by her parents.
Karen leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband of 48 years, Frederick Nordensvan, Her daughter Lauren Abels and fiancé Chris Smith of Ocean Twp., her son Carl and wife Jennifer, brothers; Thomas R. of Long Branch, and Jack and wife Caroline of Oceanport and her sister, Linda Brandow and husband Richard of Ocean Twp., and her two precious grandchildren; Victoria Maureen Abels (father Jim Abels) and Raelynn Susan Smith, as well as, several cherished nieces and nephews.
