Karen and Jerry Platz married in August of 1969. She and Jerry were blessed with four children; Beckie, Tracey, Angie and Kerry Lee the second child, died at birth. They had five granddaughters, Sara, Katie, Hailey, Torey, and Jade; five grandsons, Cody, Zach, Trentin, Dakota, and Jesse; as well as three great granddaughters, DeLenn, Aeden, and Izzibelle and one great grandson, Gordon. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister Karen Lee, and youngest brother. Karen was a strong willed person. She had many interests. Artist and writer; creativity was one of her strong suits. She crocheted; blankets, toys and lots of other things with ease.
