Our beloved Karen departed this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on February 28, 2011.
Karen’s hobbies included many things from crocheting, to fixing computers. She loved doing bookkeeping and had excellent organizational skills. She helped family members fix their computers from Ohio to Alaska including Indiana and Montana in between.
We all loved the DVD’s Karen put together. She took old photos all the way back from her Great-Great Grandparents time to the present, and made them for everyone to enjoy. She also made DVD’s for birthdays, engagement parties, bridal showers and weddings for family and friends. She would put these to awesome music, which we all got hours of enjoyment and laughter from.
Karen had an extensive library of audio books. She would lend these to anyone who had an interest in listening to a good book.
Traveling was also a love of Karen’s. She traveled all over the world with her husband, Leon; her children Scott and Paul and other family members. She traveled to such places as Australia, China, the Holy Lands and Switzerland.
Karen will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her. We were blessed to have this special woman in our lives. We love you, Karen.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Leon, 4 children: Steve (Joyce) Curry, Nancy (Gustavo) Correa, Scott (Sara) Curry & Paul (Tawna) Curry, 8 grandchildren: Damitra, Sergio, Gustavo III, Edwin, Shane, Paige, Chelsey, & Jordan, 2 great grandchildren Natalie and Gustavo Elijah, and 4 siblings: Dick (Becky ) Wiebelt, Marg Darsch, George (Marie) Wiebelt, & Bob (Brigitte) Wiebelt.
