Karen McKinley Mitchell, 71, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Karen was born on November 22, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana to Kathleen and A.M. “Mac” McKinley. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Paul Gates Mitchell. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Hillary, Hope, and Ashley, her brother, Michael McKinley, their respective spouses, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 2 nephews. Karen retired from Brevard County Schools after nearly 20 years of teaching and inspiring children at Golfview and Saturn Elementary Schools.
