Karen Lee, age 42, of Navarre, Fla., passed away Jan. 10, 2007, peacefully and surrounded by her family after her battle with cancer.
Karen, a loving wife and mother, was born on April 3, 1964, in Portsmouth, Va. She was the youngest of six children born to William D. Vann and Dorothy J. Davis.
Karen is survived by her husband, Troy Lee; her children, Amaris Simmons and her husband, Michael, Krystn Santos and Logan Lee; siblings Bill Vann and his wife, Lisa, of Roanoke, Va., Debbie Miller and her husband, Dennis, of Selmer, Tenn., James Vann and his wife Tracy, of Suffox, Va., John Vann and his wife, Sandy, of Portsmouth, Va., Cheryl Hudson and her husband, Mike, of Roanoke, Va., and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karen was a woman of faith. She always was willing to help a friend and give a shoulder to cry on. Every person who has ever been blessed to meet her is forever changed by her. Her spirit and her love for those around her will forever be missed, but her legacy will always live on through the lives that she touched.
We will celebrate the life of Karen Lee with a viewing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan.
