Karen Langenstein, 62, of Troy, Ill., born January 22, 1945 in Belleville, Ill., died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in Troy, Ill. Karen was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Troy.
She was employed with Scott Credit Union for many years and for the past 5 years was employed with First Federal Savings of Mascoutah as a loan officer. She was preceded in death by her parents William & Mary, nee Goetz, Brem, husband John C. Langenstein and a brother Roy Brem. Karen is survived by a daughter Elizabeth†Liz†& Frank Zoeller of Worden, Ill., a son John W. Jay & Ann Langenstein of Troy, Ill., a sister Marion & James Gore of Normal, Ill., 3 grandchildren; Brandon, Kyle & Alison , mother-in-law Leona Langenstein of Freeburg, Ill., nieces & nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
