Karen Jean Layman Sinclair, 54 of Grafton, was called home by the Lord on January 29, 2016, with her husband Clark and son Justin at her hospital bedside. She was born on September 28, 1961, the daughter of Roger Lee Layman and Nancy Virginia Fleming Layman, Flemington.
Karen was a Register Nurse having received her nursing pin in May 1982. She graduated from Flemington High School 1980 and Fairmont State College in 1982. She was currently employed at United Hospital Center working in the Recovery Room Dept. She previously worked at Grafton City Hospital and worked for Dr. James Malone. Karen attended Beulah Baptist Church, where she sang beautifully in the worship choir and often as a soloist.
Karen is survived by her husband, of 32 wonderful years, Clark Delbert Sinclair. They were united in marriage, September 16, 1983. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three sons, Clark Brandon Sinclair and wife Ashley, Glen Easton, WV, Christopher Brian Sinclair and Megan Koster, Alexandria, VA, Justin Matthew Sinclair and wife Jessica, Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Kohlton, Kaitlyn and Kamdyn; one brother, Randy Layman and wife Nancy, and niece, Amber, Simpson; one sister, Bobbie Jo Layman LaFontaine and husband Howie, Simpson; one nephew, Alex LaFontaine, Simpson; and several aunts, uncles, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
