She was a thoughtful, kind-spirited woman who was extremely passionate about caring for others. Karen enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Her beautiful smile and warm heart always brightened the lives of those around her. She was a registered nurse for most of her life, as well as a loving and devoted mother and wife. She will be immensely missed by those who survived her; her three children Michael, Kirsten, and Dara, her grandchildren Melanie, Lyndsay, Zachary and Lincoln, her sister Susan Boswell, her cousins Douglas Miller and Rachel Bowen, and her former husband of 37 years, Robert.
