Karen Jean Cummins, age 75 of Niles, Michigan died on Monday, July 21, 2014 at her home following an extended illness. She was born November 23, 1938 in Niles to Fayette and Edytha (Feather) Truesdell.
Karen was a Niles High School graduate and studied at Lake Michigan College. She was a member of the Niles Garden Club and the Niles Service League.
On October 24, 1955 in Niles, Karen married Elsworth Cummins, he survives along with their children, Terrie Cummins of Niles and Mark (& Ann) Cummins of DeWitt, Michigan and grandchildren, Cody, Kaylan, Sam and Nick. Karen is also survived by her brother, Kenny Truesdell of Niles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, John Truesdell.
