Karen Anne Collins Kludt of Greensboro, Ga. died Saturday, August 31st, 2019.  A native of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Karen was born on December 29th, 1944, the daughter of the late C. Donald Collins and Mary Jeanne Berry Collins.

After various moves around the country pursuing their professional careers, Larry and Karen settled in Philadelphia in 1990 where they lived until their move to Greensboro in 2013.  Karen was an active member of the Greensboro community serving in a variety of volunteer positions including coaching 9th grade students in the Greene College and Career Academy, publishing the Plantation Ladies newsletter including serving on the PLC Board, and facilitating Parent Support Groups in Atlanta and Greensboro, which provide support for parents of children who are struggling with addiction.  She also served as a voter registration agent, was an active participant in Second Harvest, and continued her management development consulting business primarily in the nuclear industry.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Kludt; son Randy Cherryholmes of Smyrna, Ga.; daughter Keirsten Davidson (Bruce) of Statham, Ga.; siblings Teri Pisarik (Frank) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Anita Sullivan (Bob) of Dubuque, Iowa, Patti Collins of Providence, Rhode Island, Tom Collins (Sandy) of Dubuque, Iowa, four grandchildren; Luke, Lily, Cole, and Carson Davidson, and many nieces and nephews.
