Torrington: Karen Ann Hakulin, 40, of South Main Street, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of Howard Hakulin. Born in Torrington, May 8, 1968, she was the daughter of Paul Eisenlohr and the late Angela (Belmonte) Eisenlohr and had lived in Torrington all of her life. Prior to her death, she had worked for the Whitman Co. of Torrington. She was a wonderful mother whose family and her dog meant the world to her. In addition to her father of New Hartford and her husband of 19 years. she is survived by her children, Howard Hakulin, Jr. of Torrington, and a daughter, Kelly Hakulin of Winsted. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Eisenlohr, Jr.
