Karel Kendall Cole, 67, died July 25, 2015 at the Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Mississippi from complications of Multiple Sclerosis after a 25 year battle with the disease. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, February 26, 1948 to the late Margaret Burt Kendall and the late Clarence Ray Kendall. In addition, she was preceded in death by brothers David Ray Kendall and Joel Reed Kendall. She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and after receiving a Master of Library Science degree from Louisiana State University worked for the Savannah/Chatham County Georgia Library System. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Edward Guy Cole and a son, Kendall Duke Cole, both of Starkville.
