Karee was born October 18, 1968 in Peru to Joseph and Nancy (Yocum) Kurtenbach. She married Robert J. Ankiewicz Jr. on July 7, 2001 in Peru.
Karee was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Peru. She was employed through the years at Motorola, State Farm, Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Office Max and most recently, she was the office administrator at Jaegle Trucking. Karee enjoyed running, biking and was a Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include her husband, Rob; three children, Courtney (fiance Ian Witte) Canzolino of Normal and Alex and Faith Ankiewicz at home; two brothers, Dale Kurtenbach of White Lake, MI and David (Terri) Kurtenbach of San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews and the new family dog, Marla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
