Kahley Danielle Stone passed away quietly at home on September 11, 2019.

She was born November 4, 1991 in Englewood, Colorado, the beloved and only daughter of Randall and Kim Stone.

Kahley’s academic and professional accomplishments were a source of immense pride and joy to her, and her family. She graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in Health and Nutrition Sciences and attended the Culinary Arts School in Santa Ana, California. Among her varied passions: her many cherished friendships, owning her own horse and being a skilled equestrian, travel, her dogs (Winter & Willow), all things outdoors, animals, German automobiles, and volunteering at a local food share.

Many of our memories of Kahley will be her need to go forward, the joy and comfort of surrounding herself with friends, her strength of character, her empathy and readiness to reach out, and her fierce optimism with which she faced life joys and difficulties. She cared deeply about the things that matter-family, friends, loyalty, kindness and fairness. Perhaps the most beloved quality of Kahley is her irrepressible and sparkling personality. This is the true legacy of Kahley. So profoundly and beautifully, she has touched our lives. In spirit, she lives on and will forever be with us.

Kahley is survived by her mother Kim Stone, her father Randall Stone and her inseparable older brother and friend Colton James. Her extended family includes uncle Christopher Kane, aunt Kellye Schab, uncle Brian MacKie, grandfather Ted MacKie, grandmother Laverta MacKie, and great aunts Vicki and Mary Ann and their families.
