Justin M. Leja, 65, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 10, 2022. Justin was born October 22, 1956 in Przemysl, Poland, a son of the late Edward J. and Maria E. (Hryniszyn) Leja and immigrated to the United States in 1966. Justin attended local schools in New Britain and worked as an aerospace inspector and telecommunication specialist in Connecticut and Vermont. A truly caring and giving soul, Justin touched the lives of many of us, and his passing brings sorrow to all who knew him.A dedicated and loving father, Justin leaves behind his greatest joy and source of pride, his son, Staff Sergeant Mark John Leja, USAF. He is also survived by his brother, Bogdan T. Leja; and his sister, Diane M. Leja and partner Terell Ricks. Uncle Johnny will be dearly missed by his niece, Ivy and great nephew Wesley; nephews, Quinn and Maximus; his aunt, Maria Klym; uncle, Julek Leja of Poland, his cousins Piotr and Adela Hryniszyn; and many cousins both here and in Canada and Poland.
