Justin Allen Tucker, 31, of Florence, formally of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016 unexpectedly at his home.
Justin was born January 28, 1985 in Charleston, WV to Gregory and Lenora Slater Tucker.
Justin has proudly served his country in the KY National Guard since 2003 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served 2 tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, supporting the freedom of our nation and many others. Justin was a Kentucky Colonel and had been awarded NCO of the year in 2014. Justin was a 2003 graduate of Fleming County High School and had attended Morehead State and Northern KY University. Justin was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and he also loved sports. Justin attended Seven Hills Church and worked for Bullet Line Inc. in Florence.
Justin is survived by his parents Greg and Lenora; brother Eric (Soleil) Tucker of Japan; grandmother Joyce Ann (Eugene) Fowler; aunts Gloria (Jim) Lawrence, Della Marie Wilson and Ruth Ann Slater; uncles Johnnie Francis Tucker Jr., Mike (Barbara) Tucker, Thomas Anthony (Linda) and William F. Slater Jr.; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents William F. Slater Sr., Johnnie Francis Tucker and Margaret Jane Tucker; uncle Donald Lee Tucker.
