Junior Ray Dobbins, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 while surrounded by his family. He was of the Baptist faith. Junior was born on October 1, 1937. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Joyce Dobbins; parents, Grady and Lillian Dobbins; and a grandson, Joshua Andrew Dobbins.
He is survived by his, sons and daughters in law, Billy Ray and Starr Dobbins of Chattanooga, TN, Johnny Ray Dobbins of Tunnel Hill, GA, Tim and Treena Dobbins of Ringgold, GA; daughter and son in law, Trisha and Sean Bartels of Dalton; sisters, Marie Harris of Tennessee, Jimmie Faye Goins of Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Connie Fuller and Janet Watson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hannah, Tara and Tanya at Ridgewood Nursing Home and his special roommate Anthony Long.
