June Violet Miller, 88, of Westminster, died Friday, December 25, 2015, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born Oct. 20, 1927 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Hawkins and George Hecker. She was the wife of 47 years to Paul H. Miller who died in 1995 and Albert Newman who died in 2015.
Before retiring she worked at Smith’s Bakery, Brown’s Supermarket and Monumental 5 and 10. She graduated from Southern High School and was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. She loved to travel, shop and play bingo.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kurtis and Kathy Miller of Union Bridge and grandchildren Kelly and Rian Miller.
