June O. Rendaci, 94, formerly of Rosedale, died at 4:45 pm September 30th in St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born June 22, 1921 in Lyford to David Owens and Anna Hockett Owens.
She taught for South Vermillion School Corporation for 38 years in the schools of Crompton Hill, Matthews South School, and Glendale. She was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi, the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, the Indiana Retired Teachers Association, and the Parke-Vermillion Retired Teachers Association, and the Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Rendaci, whom she married March 29th, 1947 in Clinton; and two sisters, Peg Helms, and Anne Adams.
She is survived by one son, Jim Rendaci and his wife Imelda of Indianapolis; one granddaughter, Nicole and Adam Fisher of Parker, CO; one sister, Mary Pagliero of Carlsbad, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
