June Marie Wascher
June Marie Wascher, 79, of 1708 Haskell Parkway, Olean , N.Y. passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital, N.Y.
Born May 25, 1932 in Northumberland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Betsy Abiuso Wolfinger. On October 18, 1952, in St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Williamsport, she married Eugene W. Wascher, who survives. She was formerly of Williamsport and resided in Olean since 1959.
June was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Olean, past deacon, church elder, Sunday school teacher, and served on various church committees. She was a member of interfaith Caregivers for 17 years. June enjoyed her friends, decorative painting, and traveling.
In addition to her husband, Eugene, she is survived by a daughter, Susan (Michael) Breslin of Chambersburg, Pa, and a son, Steven (Cheryl) Wascher of Greenhurst, NY a granddaughter, Erin ( Brian) Honsermeyer of Dallas, PA, and grandsons, Michael Breslin of Chambersburg, PA., Andrew Wascher and Lee Wascher, both of Greenhurst, NY
