June L. Skrok, 90, of McCordsville, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis.
She was born February 27, 1924, in Salamanca, New York to the late James and Iva (Weaver) Newark.
June worked at Triangle Shoe Store in New York and Bailey’s Beautician Supply Co. in Indianapolis. She attended Geist Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Seneca Lodge No. 464.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Weese of McCordsville; granddaughter Sherry (Tony) Hall of McCordsville; great-grandchildren: Branden, Ashton, Cayden, Jocelyn, Kelston and Mason; brother James H. Newark of Wellsville, NY; and sister Anna Riddle of Pompano Beach, FL.
June was preceded in death by her husband Leonard J. Skrok; son-in-law Richard Weese; twin-brother Jack E. Newark; brother Burton E. Newark; and sister Marion Pieklo.
