June Irene (Dodillet) Hacker 82 of Centralia passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at her home.She was born June 17, 1931 in Clinton County, daughter of Charles and Fay (White) Dodillet. She married Joe H. Hacker on July 3, 1954 in Sandoval at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two sons: Robert Hacker and special friend Nancy Shoen of Springfield and Ronald Hacker and wife Theresa of Centralia; five grandchildren: Kirk Hacker and wife Carol of Neoga, Gina Allen and husband Bob of Hillsboro, Laura Weston and husband James of Springfield, Joseph Hacker of Springfield and Sarah Hacker of Pawnee; several great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lloyd Dodillet and a great-grandson, Andrew.June worked as the secretary for the Centralia Chamber of Commerce for 25 years and she retired in 1984.
June was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Centralia, the Alters Society, and the Catholic Daughters of America. Also she was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Lady Elks and BPW. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
