Julius V. Mestek, 86, of Clinton, died December 13, 2013, at 9:30am, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born June 14, 1927, to Joseph Mestek and Catherine Mazely Mestek. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Core, he was retired from the Newport Army Ammunition Plant. He is survived by three nephews; Joe and Lois Jackson of Clinton, Dennis Allsop, of Clinton, and Jim Jackson, of Athens, Georgia. One great-niece; Brandy. His cat, Smokey IV, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Anna Jackson, and Josephine Allsop, brother-in-law; Lauwrence Jackson, and a special cousin Katie Willis.
