Julius was better known as “Nic Nac”; he had a sense of humor of his own. The party didn’t start until he entered a club. He would tell everyone in there, I’m the life of the party; then he went jamming on the dance floor partying down; continuing to do his whistles off of different songs that were played by other Disc Jockey’s Consolation members. He would do his party whistle whenever he enter the building, the ladies would go crazy off of his whistle when a song played; She a Brick House by the Commodores. He had a passion for music. He was with a club called the Consolation; which were numerous Disc jockeys. Julius loved fast cars and don’t forget his North Carolina Tar Heels basketball and football team. He would come up out of his sit whenever they made the wrong play or the referee would make the wrong call on the Tar Heels. He worked at Bynum Cotton Mill in Bynum NC for several years. He also worked for the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill as a custodian until his health declined. Julius attended Horton High before they integrated in 1972, he graduated from Northwood High School in the early ’70s.
