He worked for the former Amperex Co. in Slatersville for 17 years as a pipe fitter, retiring in 1984. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of the VFW Keegan-Dinnegan Post in Pascoag. He was an avid gardener.
