Julius A. Allor, Sr., 76, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was born April 14, 1940 in Monroe, MI to the late Alton and Zulma (Van Slambrouck) Allor. Jay was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Fortville American Legion Post 391. He owned Jay’s Roofing Company for many years.
He is survived by his wife Kay (Webster) Allor of Fortville; children: Richard (Beth) Liebke of Fortville; Patricia (Jerry) of Naples, FL; Jay (Anne Kelly) Allor, Jr. of Fortville; Mark (Debbie) Allor of Bloomfield; Kevin Allor of Fortville; Roxanne (Zane) Trueblood of Greenfield; Amy (Lawrence) Leeman of Wilkinson; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers: Mike (Joann) Allor, Harold Allor, Joe (Rosa) Allor; sisters: Mary (Les) Koster and Marilyn Haynes; numerous nieces and nephews. Jay was preceded in passing by siblings: Albert Allor, Helen Applin, Jackie Haynes and Robert Allor.
