Julio Marra, age 83 of St Charles, Illinois, formerly of Evergreen Park passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at South Elgin Rehabilitation Center surrounded by family.
He was born September 10, 1928 in Holden, West Virginia to Dominick and Michilina (Scarpelli) Marra.
Julio served his country proudly in both the Army and the Coast Guard. He owned and operated several retail shoe stores in the Chicago area including J & R Shoes of Skokie, B& K Shoes of Chicago and Glenwood Bootery of Glenwood. In his free time, Julio enjoyed boats and being on the water.
Julio is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosemarie (Kehoe) Marra; children Joseph Marra of St Charles and Renee (Joseph) DeLorier of Geneva; grandchildren Melissa (Jeff) Easley and Joseph DeLorier and sister Evelyn Scatchell.
Julio is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank, Joseph and Alphonso.
