Juliette Jackson Worth: Born July 31, 1923 in Hapeville, Ga. to the late Emmette G. Jackson and Emily S. Jackson. Juliette quietly entered into the nearer presence of God on Thursday, March 5 at the Newnan home of her daughter-in-law, Judi R. Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack J. Worth Jr. and sons, Jack J. Worth, III and Mike Worth. Juliette was 96 years old and is survived by her son Stephen Worth (Rita) of Montgomery, Alabama and her brother Emmette Jackson (Norma) of Hingham, Massachusetts and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Juliette was married to Dr. Jack J Worth who practiced medicine in Atlanta before retiring to Newnan. She was an active member of the medical auxiliary in Atlanta and a long time member of Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga. where her parents were instrumental, charter members. Juliette was an avid gardener, a skilled cook and loving mother to her three sons. She was loved and will be missed by her seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Her many delicious recipes will keep her memory alive for years and generations to come. Juliette crafted beautifully jeweled hand decorated Christmas balls that are enjoyed each year on family Christmas trees. Her ceramic figures are proudly displayed as well. She will be remembered with loving admiration for her kind spirit, welcoming smile and gentle heart.
