Julie Sue Gonzalez, age 53, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born on August 29, 1967 in Harlingen to Julia Aurajo and Pablo Gonzalez. Julie lived her life unapologetically. A rock star to the very end. After her breast cancer diagnosis, Julie continued to live one day at a time. While she had her own struggles, there is no doubt that her children held a special place in her heart. Julie was grateful for the Lord’s blessings and the borrowed time.
Julie is preceded in death by her mother, Julia Aurajo.
She is survived by her children Vicente Garcia Jr. (Patricia), Kimberly Jo Montalvo (Xwan), Jody Montalvo, Joe Montalvo, Sherry Candy Vasquez (Juan), Iris Monique Espinoza (James), Faith Lillyanne Gonzalez, Joshua Gonzalez, and Meghan Gonzalez. She is also survived by 5 sisters and 13 grandchildren.
