Julie Schempp, 97, of Fairfield, Connecticut, died peacefully in her sleep at home on September 2, 2017. Born December 23, 1919 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she is predeceased by her late husband of 66 years, Harry Schempp, and her son, Woody Schempp, formerly of Norwalk.
Julie retired as executive secretary from PDS Technologies-in Fairfield at the age of eighty. She was very involved with her community as an officer of the Fairfield Arts Council, a volunteer at the Quick Center of Fairfield University, a Pacer with the Fairfield Senior Center, and an active member of St.
