Julie M. Sapyak, age 49 of Midland, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at the home of her sister. The daughter of the late Steve J. and Marie (Boyle) Sapyak was born in Midland on March 26, 1960 where she was raised and educated graduating from H.H. Dow High School in 1978. Julie had been employed at Kroger’s, Packaging Resource International, and with Midland Walmart. She enjoyed working with stained glass, playing softball, and volleyball, and gardening. Julie was a Red Wings Fan and enjoyed watching many different sporting events.
Surviving are her brothers and sisters, Suzanne (Dave) Bass of Hope, Michael (Carol) Sapyak of Sanford, Stephanie (David) Bober of Woodstock, Georgia, Steven Sapyak of Midland, Stacie (Frank) Schossau of Sanford; nephews, Brian Sapyak, Matthew Schossau; niece, Ashley Bober; beloved dog, Harley; cat Chloe; special friends, Ruth Morey and Lori Greene.
