Julie passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Carriage House Nursing Home. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Benjamin and Donelda “Minnie” La Vigne was born February 15, 1919 in Black River, Michigan. She was a member of St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church in Bay City. She was retired from Prestolite Corporation after thirty five years of service and a member of the U.A.W.
She is survived by two sisters; Ann Schmidt of Oscoda, MI and Ethel Rasche of Black River, MI, many nieces and nephews, her caregiver; Roberta Haertel. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters; Doris Langenburg and Rena Hartley.
