Julie Lynn McCune, age 58, of Golden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at Denver Hospice.
Julie was born to Karl and Shirley Meisel in El Paso, Texas, on September 24, 1959. An army brat, during her childhood she lived in many states, but especially enjoyed the time her family lived in Germany. She attended the University of Kansas, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. She worked as a substitute teacher, and front-office staff in the medical field before leaving the workforce to raise her children.
