Julie Anne (App) Breitling, 57, of Elkhart and formerly of Phoenix, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her home.
Julie was born on April 2, 1958 in Elkhart to the late Kenneth L. and Lois June (Moore) App. Surviving are her children, Emily Breitling, Scott Breitling and Samantha Breitling and her only grandson, Alexander Breitling all of Phoenix; brothers, Larry (Nila) App of Bristol and Ronald (Gina) App of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; 2 nieces and 1 nephew and her life-partner Steven D. Roth of Elkhart survives as well.
Julie was a 1976 graduate of Elkhart Central High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and was on the swim team. She then attended Ball State University. Julie was currently employed at Boling Vision Center as a front desk associate, welcoming patients with her warm friendly smile and shining personality. She formerly worked at Elkhart Neurology PC, TruPay and also worked for over 30 years in Arizona. Julie was a Mary Kay consultant for over 20 years and was on the board of directors at The Samaritan Center. She was a volunteer and the merchandise chair at the Elkhart Jazz Fest.
Julie never knew a stranger, with her upbeat and positive Facebook post, sunny disposition and life strengthening quotes; she touched many lives and will be missed by all those who love her.
