Julie Anne Tufnell, age 48, of Escanaba passed away on September 27, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center in Marinette, Wisconsin surrounded by her family and friends.
Julie was born August 14, 1974 at the K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base. She graduated from the Rapid River High School in 1992. She worked at JCPenney, the Island Resort and Casino and Meijer. Julie was united in marriage to Cory Tufnell on August 13, 2022 in Wells. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her summers in Au Train with family and friends, kayaking and camping.
Julie is survived by her husband, Cory of Escanaba, daughters, Sarah Dowd and Hannah Simmons, sons, Zaine Dowd, Tyler LaFond and Nathan Tufnell, grandchildren, Audrie and Anden, her father, William “Bill” Springer, her brother, Rob Livingston, her sister, Melissa Ettenhofer, nieces, Rayne, Airyn and Allie and Robert Livingston.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Springer.
