Julie Anne Cambridge, 39, of Murrayville, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, along with her husband Brian, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Apr. 11, 1972, the daughter of Gary and Judy Mayfield Sides. She was married to Brian Richard Cambridge.
She is survived by her children, Sarah Anne, Caytlyn Shaye and Skylar Grace Cambridge, all at home; her parents, Gary and Judy Sides of Jacksonville; brother Jeff (Paulette) Sides of Western Springs; sister Janet (Fred) Bascom of Tallula; niece and nephew Morgan and Jake Sides; and maternal grandmother Helen Mayfield of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Cambridge was a 1991 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She then attended Patricia Stevens College in St. Louis before receiving her broadcasting training from Lewis & Clark Community College. She then began her career as a radio personality at WJVO/WJIL and then at WLDS. She had also worked at Sparrow Corporation in Jacksonville and WMAY in Springfield, before returning to the airwaves on WJVO, where she was known as Julie Anne. She was baptized and had been a member of Central Christian Church. She loved her family, and especially loved being a mother.
