On Sunday January 4, 2015, surrounded by family and friends, Julie Anne Bowman-Thacker left this life to be a spirit in the sky. Her earthly life began on December 11, 1971 in Indianapolis.
Julie lived life to its fullest. Her favorite things to do included riding with her husband, Tom, on their Harley and spending time with her family. She was a huge supporter of local music. She was a Jeff Gordon fan and traveled to many NASCAR races. She loved animals, especially her dog, Nugent. On Sundays, she was cheering on the Indianapolis Colts. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a smart alec to the very end. Among the many things that will be missed is Julie’s laugh. It was lively and contagious.
She is survived by her parents, Betty and Rick Harper, her husband, Thomas Thacker, daughter, Lelia Chougule, son, Tyler Harper, and stepchildren, Emily and David Thacker. Also surviving are siblings Angie Bowman-Woods, Kent Bowman, Kristen Loer, Kelly Skeens, and Crystal Madera Morquecho.
