Julie Ann Rizza, age 42 of Stratford, formerly of Milford, beloved wife of Curtis James Romanchick, passed away at Griffin Hospital in Derby on Monday, June 27, 2011. Born on June 3, 1969 in New Haven, she was the daughter of Richard and JoAnn Rizza. Julie was a graduate of Lauralton Hall and graduated from Manhattanville College with a degree in Art History. After college, Julie became a talented visual designer for many major department stores and she was also a licensed cosmetologist. She was an avid horseback rider, passionate in her love for animals and enjoyed reading.
In addition to her husband, Curtis and her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Josephine Rizza, her brother, Brian Rizza of Milford, two sisters, Suzanne Vecchi of Methuen, MA and Kari Tuczynski of Ponte Vedra, FL and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
