Julieanne Marie Eddy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in Scottsdale Arizona, on September 14, 2011. Judy, also known by those who loved her as Guggy, was born in Spalding, Nebraska on December 29th, 1923. She was the youngest of four children born to William Dunning and Julia Ann Pritchard. In her youth she was a beautician and loved dancing to big band music. She met and married the leader of the Chuck Eddy Orchestra, Charles J. Eddy in 1947. They moved to Deerfield, Illinois in 1956 where they raised their three children, Charles Byron Eddy who preceded her in death in 1995, Michelene Krueger from Prairie Village, Kansas, and Julie Hancock from Scottsdale, 1978 they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Her husband Charles preceded her in death in 1990. Judy then began working at her daughter and son-in-law’s company, Camelot Homes, where she remained employed until she was 86 years old. She was a strong woman of faith, known by all for her good humor, loving nature and feisty spirit. Her greatest love was her family, including 7 grandchildren; John Eddy, Cameron Beckert, Trent Hancock, Chase Hancock, Kyle Akers, Julianne Alex Akers, and Emily Akers. 3 great grandchildren; Colton Beckert, Braden Beckert and Hayden Hancock. Sons-in-law, Mark Hancock and Jeff Krueger, daughter-in-law Patricia Jackson, Beloved Cousins; Father Thomas Dowd and Dick Dowd, and many other loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
