Age 84 of St. Charles passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019.A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel. Burial will follow at Marion Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1 from 4:00 to 8:00pm.Julian was born on May 22, 1934 to Frances and Francis (Podlaska) Guzinski in Detroit. After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army. Julian married Rhoda Simmons on October 31, 1959; they celebrated 20 years of marriage before she predeceased him in 1980.Julian worked as a millwright for Saginaw Steering Gear for 45 years, retiring in 1999. Throughout his life, he enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, fishing, and telling Polish jokes. He loved spending time with his family, and his great-grandchildren were the lights of his life.Julian is survived by his children, Julie (Ken) Kill, Kathy Childs, Phillip Guzinski, Tom Guzinski, Angie Garn, and Annette (Mike) Radosa; and his 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.He is predeceased by his wife, Rhoda Guzinski; his infant granddaughter, his parents and parents-in-law, and 2 sisters.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
